WEST AFRICA 2020
A journey through western africa in 2019 contained Senegal, The Gambia, Guinea-Bissau as well as Guinea. While Senegal is recognized as democratic and stable and therefore is the center of attraction for intra-african refugees. The Gambia is semi-democratic and strict ruled country entirely embraced by Senegal. On the other hand, it became rough to travel in the military dictatorships of Guinea-Bissau and Guinea. Der Senegal gilt als Stabilitätsgarant mit einer demokratischen Regierung ist das Land somit ein Magnet für innerafrikanische Flüchtlinge. In der Folge reisten wir via St. Louis nach Süden bis in das gänzlich vom Senegal umschlossene Land Gambia, welches streng Diktatur-ähnlich regiert wird. Guinea-Bissau und Guinea sind beides Militärdiktaturen.
